I'm in Pennysylvania right now, getting ready for a friend's sister's wedding and it's so heteronormative and it's this amazing feeling not to resent it. because today, for me and New Yorkers, marriage isn't "straight marriage" or "gay marriage". it's just marriage.
I am so proud and happy and in shock right now. I want to thank each and ever one of you who read my words and called and emailed and tweeted and shouted from the rooftops that we aren't second class citizens. I will write more eloquently later, but I just wanted to say that I am so proud of you all. We made history, we are triumphant and love won over hate. Yesterday we stepped forward in time and history and we shaped a better future. And we did this.
I love you all. Thank you.
