the world is a rainbow ...
back from duck, NC ... we left right in time ... seems the outer banks are in for a week or so of wet, coldy, overall gross weather ... i really had a nice time ... hit up the beach, shopped with my aunt and grandma, got a really cute (but extremely preppy) skort and a nice RL polo ... coach outlet was closed ... tear ... but it was so much fun ... the house is gorgeous!!! and it was fun to be with all my family ... my mom already booked the hotel for next year for 5 days and she said i could bring a friend along ... YEAH! ... good way to culminate senior year ... lol ...
done with fbla training ... everyone said it was so bad, but i, frankly, didn't mind it at all ... this year is looking to be extremely productive, and we have a lot of good ideas ... and, we get to go to disney!!! fun!
and, of course, the best news, I GOT MY LICENSE!!! yes ... i did ... i passed ... the guy was so nice! he didn't test my emergency brake, didn't watch me parallel park, and was really funny ... i was sooooo nervous lol ... and now, my mom lets me drive in a 2 mile radius from my home! nice! ... i really have to break her in ... my birthday was sooo much fun! ... i got cute reef sandals, a kate spade bag, money, a limoge tennis racquet, some cute clothes, gift certificates, and some cute vera bradley luggage ... and my parents bought me the most beautiful ring ... and of couse my little buds from cape may got me the CUTEST t-shirt! ... i wanted to have a party, but my parents got me so much for my birthday that i feel really bad asking them to shell out anymore money ... so i probably will have a dinner at my house ... just for 10 or so people ... i'll cook ... nice and small ...
my brother is leaving for london tomorrow for two months ... i'm gonna miss him despite what i say sometimes ... i hope that his trip is safe and uneventful (in terms of no bad things) ... we'll be seeing him in london when we visit for a week or so in august ... yeah!
wednesday, harriet and i are going to see the boy from oz with hugh jackman ... i am psyched! ... it's gonna be so awesome! ...
by the way ... if anyone would like to go to the fireworks in RB on sunday, july 3rd, come with me! ... we get to sit right on the pier/dock/boat slips where my boat should be if it wasn't still in my back yard ... monmouth boat club next to marine park ... need company! lol ... i g2g ... work tomorrow @ 9 am ... ttyl :-)
