I learned today...
That i have a surprisingly hard head.
All of the girls managed to duck out of Kevin and Pozo's intermural co-ed soccer game (indoor), which requires at least two girls or the team forfeits. So i ended up going, despite the fact i don't play soccer. I guess i have a good kick, but i have no technique. Anyway, i ended up being the only girl, so we forfeited the official game and played one for fun. I was intercepting Jesse's kick from behind and he didn't see me and plowed right into me. He has about 6 inches and 50 lbs on me and needless to say, I fell straight backwards. I couldn't really tuck into a ball or turn to the side cuz jesse landed on top of me and my head slammed into the floor.
I got up and kept playing. I just have a slight headache.
It's ok though. My ring punched a small hole in Jesse's palm.
Ooh! i went to the Desterhan Fall Plantation Festival today. It was so cute! They had all kinds of arts and crafts booths. Lots of local food products, and lots of louisiana fair food, which includes crawfish and catfish dishes. yummmm.
Gotta get up early to sell beer at the Saints game and make some pocket change.
