It's raining like crazy outside.
I had to ford two rivers this morning. My oxen died.
In all seriousness, the water came up to two inches blow the top of my rain boots. That was good, but then some idiot behind me walked rather clumsily past me and got water in one boot. Then as i was finally at the other side of the river the wake a car created driving by got water in my other boot.
grr.
On a lighter note, i very spontaneously downloaded an anime called Moyashimon. It's the funniest thing EVER!
It's about a two country bumpkins who just began school at a university in Tokyo. It's an agricultural university so its a bit wierd, but the kid (who's name escapes me) has to go there because that's the only school his father would allow him to attend in Tokyo, and otherwise would have to stay in the country.
He's not too particularly interested in all the livestock and vegetables about but HES NO ORDINARY KID! (of course). This kid apparently can see microbes. But they don't look like they're supposed to. To him, they look like cute little things you could mass manufacture and put on keychains.
This one is supposed to be yeast i think.
Anyway, the kid was apparently signed up to be in a microbiology lab by his grandfather and the microbio professor. And that's where the story begins...
This anime is so fucking funny, and ridiculous. And is about microbes. I love it!
It's only going to be 11 episodes long, so it won't fizzle out and turn into crap like Yakitate Japan did. (which is strikingly similar). I can't wait for more of this!
