My housemate and his family could not be more stereotypically Irish if they tried. He's not as much by himself, but when his dad and brother come to visit, they all go out drinking 'til the wee hours (I'm pretty sure his dad is at least mildly drunk 24/7) and on nights when they're not going out, like tonight, they sit around and sing ditties.
