The Friday Five for October 15

1. What is the favorite Halloween (fancy dress) costume you have ever seen?
Oh man, this little boy at our school party looked awesome. It's only a mask, but it was perfect for him.

My daughter killed it in her Snow White costume long long ago (see icon/user pic), and my son in the back of the picture here LOL

2. Would you rather walk through a graveyard at midnight or spend a night in a spooky abandoned old house
Walk through a graveyard. I don't mind a nice walk on a moonlit night. Why spend an uncomfortable night in an old house? I am not particularly into finding ways to scare myself either but at the moment, it just seems rather uncomfortable. And as Dean (Supernatural) says,

"You've seen alot of horror movies, yah? Next time you see one, pay attention. If someone says a place is haunted, don't go in!"

3. What Halloween candy (or candy in general) would you keep and what would you trade?
Keep: Chocolate most definitely - but I like pretty much every kind of candy except...
Trade: Hard candy. I give out lollipops at our school but I don't like them myself and would only eat one if I was starving and there was nothing else.

4. If you were stuck in a room with one horror movie villain, who would it be?

My Bloody Valentine, I guess? I do not really like horror movies, but if I had to..., and you know why.

Wait... I was thinking this was a question of preference but grammatically, it isn't really is it. Who would I most likely be stuck in a room with???... Maybe Sadako from The Ring? since I do live in Japan.

5. Have you ever been on a Haunted Hayride?
No. Don't have those here, but I've heard of them from a friend that enjoys them in the States and I just watched a video showing one on Youtube. I don't know. Maybe. I wouldn't go just to get scared - I'm not a thrill seeker, but maybe with some good friends.

What I like most about Halloween though is the candy, sweets, fall foods like pumpkins and apples, the mysterious atmosphere of jack o'lanterns and candles, and kids in their cute costumes having fun. Now that I have lost a deal of weight, I am kind of looking forward to dressing up in something nice too.
