Devilish Whispers

It is a rainy day again, for the third consecutive day at least, and thankfully I have the morning free to just continue rewatching Lucifer and distract myself from this awful feeling.   As you know, my latest obsession is with Lucifer and the pretty that is Tom Ellis.   I will get enough at some point I'm sure.  I wanted to share some choice pics but my melancholy was whispering into my ear that you would not care for it anyway.  Thanks to my inner Lucifer who's telling me that if I want to do it, I should.  I'm finally listening to you baby (*blows kisses*)  So this is for me and for anyone who might enjoy it with me.  No spoilery show stuff, just a pretty man <3

Extra thoughts on the show -
[Spoiler (click to open)]

So I've been thinking of what I'd like to see in the last season of Lucifer and I really don't want it to end with Chloe and him going back to "solving crimes." That's not really a job for an angel or a King, Hell or otherwise. And he really is King now that he is doing it for the good of others. That experience with Choe definitely will help him be a better ruler but it should help him also move on to something better. And the self-sacrifice of going back to Hell has to change things for him in other ways too. I just had the thought that, if Angels are judged by how they think of themselves, then it stands to reason that Lucifer can go back to Heaven when he thinks he is worthy of it and if he wants to, just as Amenadeil did. Especially considering his wings. His mother did tell him that God had wanted to destroy him and she asked him to send him to Hell instead, but what if that was a lie? Or a misunderstanding at the very least? What if Lucifer sent himself, believing God to have rejected him? And, what if Lucifer himself changing and going back to Hell will change Hell too?

I have no idea what demons are in this universe and who/what created them. But, if they can be more human the more they live on Earth like Maze, what's to say they should have to be in Hell? Shouldn't they all have a chance to change as Maze has? And how on Earth was Maze able to get out without using a human body, when the other demons cannot? Of course I am curious to also see what happens to Maze and if she finds love (in Eve or otherwise) and what she does when she finds out that Lucifer has left her on Earth. She may be upset with Lucifer, or she may understand the situation and help Chloe/Amenadeil/Linda find a solution.

And Chloe. Is it going to be a happy ending romantically? If so, how are they going to make it work? A human police officer with the King of Hell - will one have to quit their job or is there another way? I was quite dissatisfied with Chloe and how, after she found out about Lucifer's face she forgot about all those times Lucifer saved her life and died for her and all the cruel things she said to him because she didn't believe him. Lucifer didn't remind her, in that scene where she asks him why sometimes he gets hurt and sometimes he doesn't and mentions that he "almost died" when Malcom shot him in the gut, that he actually DID die. She still doesn't know that he went back to hell to save her from the poison either. I really want her to find out/remember all these things. I am hoping that she will use her detective skills to find a way to go to Lucifer or get him back. The actor herself mentioned that she wants to know whether Chloe will wait for Lucifer or try to get on with her life but there is my third option, possibly coming after she has innitially tried to move on. Will S5 end with Lucifer taking Chloe up to Heaven, or with a promise of long happy lives together, somehow? Lucifer has said that Earth is his home, where he feels the most accepted. That probably will not change just because he thinks better of himself. None of the angels up in heaven seem to understand and love humanity like he and Amenadeil do. I can't see Lucifer giving up his angelness/demonness and becoming human/mortal though. At least I hope he doesn't. But will Chloe, on the other hand, find that she actually has some special powers other than just making immortals vulnerable if they fall in love with her? Like maybe being able to go between Hell/Heaven/Earth? Could she rule with Lucifer somehow? Bridge the gap between the worlds?

Anyway, some haphazard musings.
