This didn't get an awesome from me because I really wanted to see them having even a few minutes of their game night - I felt cheated! But seeing Dean trying to sey up Mousetrap was fun, I remember getting very frustrated doing that!
I was sure at one point that Lucifer was going to be back and I'm pleased this didn't happen, but I'm also worried that Jack might now be going down a dark path, especially if he did kill Mary, even accidentally. I hope Chuck intervenes and gives the poor lad back his soul. I liked the scenes with Cas and Anael, she's an interesting character and I hope we see more of her.
Dean trying to keep Sam conscious was such a sad scene, both J's were brilliant here and I swear Jensen's eyes looked even bigger than usual! Thank goodness Jack could save Sam, he still cares about his 'dads'.
I wanted to see some of their game night too!! Honestly, I would have been very happy with 42 minutes of them playing games and laughing and bickering, lol.
I agree. There is a lot I've loved in this season, but it has been pretty relentlessly dramatic. We got those two comedy episodes near the beginning and that's it except for humor sprinkled in the episodes. Which is great! But I miss the overall lighter episodes.
I believe that if he does go down a mistaken path it will be because he feels that the Winchesters think him a monster. If they can show him otherwise, that would change. He will not be 'the big bad.'
I hope you're right and that they can help Jack use his powers for good and not feel like a monster. He's so sweet and has so much capacity for love, even without a soul.
