Poll SPN 13-22 ExodusSAM! SAM! Dean too yes, because he went along with it but mostly... SAM! what are you doing? *holds head in disbelief* O.M.G. What an awful situation. I just can't.
Let's go back to the beginning. That first scene was really hard to watch. I watched and listened to it in a corner of my consciousness while the rest was in denial LOL. It was HARD. But I loved Sam hugging mom, and Dean was handsome.
DEAN: Sam, what happened?
SAM: He brought me back.
LUCIFER: That's what I do.
CAS: That is not what...*exasperated sigh*
Then the Lucifer scene that I am just going to glaze over, where everyone is like you are not talking with Jack, and Jack you are not listening to Lucifer.
DEAN: No. You don't talk to him, and you? you don't listen to him.
Then Dean telling Gabriel to kill Lucifer with the blade, and Gabriel not doing it of course. Awkward. And me wishing they had told Jack about what Lucifer has done to them to warrant them hating him etc. a bit sooner because... Jack doesn't like being told not to do something. He's a regular teenager, he needs to know and see for himself and Dean is the worst father ever LOL
When they ask Lucifer about the rift -
LUCIFER: I left Rowena some grace...
(LIE)
Then the brothers scene -
SAM: Hey, listen, I'm sorry about all this.
DEAN: Are you good?
SAM: Yeah.
DEAN: Then you've got nothing to appologize for.
DEAN: I thought I lost you man.
(HUGS)
GAHHHHH *cries* BEST SCENE HERE
DEAN: What are we going to do about Lucifer.
SAM: I'll handle it. I will Dean. Let me handle it.
DEAN: Alright.
Um... No. Not good.
Jack is remembering what everyone has told him before - his mom saying don't let anyone tell him who he is supposed to be. "You are who you choose to be." Then all the mistakes he has made, the people who have died in his care... He decides to 'listen to' Lucifer.
CAS: Jack, talking with Lucifer is not a good idea.
JACK: I'm not going to talk. I'm going to listen.
LUCIFER: He's going to listen.
ME: That's even worse.
Then as expected, mom says she doesn't want to leave these people behind and Dean's like, there are some fights you have to leave behind. Sam says I understand.... so... we'll take them all! And Dean's like, what?!... ok....?! But he goes along with it, like this is all up to Sam. Both of their brains are screwed.
And Mary tells them there are 25 people. Yeah, sure, we can take 25 people maybe... just barely! That's actually not very many at all but taking them with them... I so wish they had just left Jack and mom and possibly Lucifer(sighs). Now am more and more worried about the Death problem and screwing up the worlds too.
Lucifer talking to Jack, talking about how humans are flawed, and how he could not have done all this evil all these years because he was in the cage etc. hahaha
DEAN: Hey! I told you no talking, and you, no listening.
JACK: He's in chains.
DEAN: His mouth isn't. We should have gagged him.
JACK: I need to know about my powers, about my family.
DEAN: Jack!
JACK: Dean!He's my father.
And that shuts Dean up. I agree, they should have gagged him in any other circumstances, but in this case, I go with Mary. Let Jack see what Lucifer is truly made of for himself. Teenagers just don't want to be told what and what not to do, no matter how right it might be. Just realized Dean is acting exactly like his own dad.
Love Mary telling Dean later that he has been fighting a war and they should just believe in him. BEST mom.
MARY: Take it easy on Jack. He's been fighting a war. He's trying so hard to prove himself. He's lost people. Friends. Its gonna take a minute to get through it.
Dean, like it or not Lucifer is Jack's father. He's going to take an interest in him.
DEAN: So we're supposed to just let Lucifer drag him to the dark side?
MARY:Jack isn't going to the dark side. He'll see Lucifer's true nature. And he'll see it through his own eyes, not through your eyes.
That's the key isn't it?
Jack meanwhile is suggesting they take down Michael with the combined powers. I am not sure why they brought the blade if they weren't going to kill Michael. Isn't that what Gabriel came for? to help them kill Michael with the blade? But that last scene seems very random decision by Gabriel. I am totally confused. I can see though that Jack is probably not strong enough, nor can Lucifer help - he's not powerful enough here and is just lying to Jack... but then he shows that the cuffs didn't work on him by killing all the enemy angels. More lies. I wonder if they would be powerful enough on their own turf - and Michael lose power if he comes to Sam/Dean land.
This is the only photo I got from that scene where Lucifer kills the angels LOL
Back at Bobby's scrapyard -
Bobby's scrapyard is not in Seoux Falls? - because he doesn't like to freeze his ass off like Sam and Dean's Bobby...? and here is our first indication that Bobby here is a tad different from their Bobby. Combined with the scene of AU Cas... we kind of start getting the idea that the people here are different from their world. The same in some ways of course but different in others. And I really have a bad feeling with them in the bunker.
The best speech here is by Gabriel - he is so right and he is saying exactly the same thing as Aniel(remember this Jack!):
GABE: You think dad was a bad guy and you were a victim? That was just your excuse.
LUCIFER: Excuse for what?
GABE: For it all, Lucifer. For it all.
RESISTANCE GUY: You want to blast us out of here... to some fairytale world where everything is pretty?
(Bad feeling - they might ruin it just as badly as Michael would. We don't know the history behind it all do we? It could be that humans were ruining the world and Michael had to try to take over to save it.)
Nice interrogation scene coupled with a similar scene on the other side. We are reminded that this is a war - both sides doing similar things. But Dean was much hotter XD
Gabe and Lucifer's talk here...
GABE: When the angels show up we've gotta defend this place.
GABE: It is really killing you that you are not out there impressing your kid, huh? Lucifer, do you really see a version here where he sticks by you?
LUCIFER: I think he's pretty blown away by his old man, so, yeah. I do.
GABE: He's a kid. He likes shiny objects and magic tricks. But he's not like you. I can see it in his eyes. His mother's bloodline the Winchesters' influence...
LUCIFER: I can be an influence.
GABE: Ah, he's not going to want that.
He'll see who... what you are.
LUCI: I've changed.
GABE: Dude, it's me. I've known you since the stars were made. You can't change You are incapable of empathy or love...you live to be worshiped or feared, or both.
GABE: Oh is this the part where you tell me that dad made up all those so called lies about you?
Don't you get it? Humans are innocent and beautiful, but you couldn't stand that the old man loved them more than you. So you tempted them and you corrupted them just to prove just how flawed they were.
LUCI: You better be careful man.
GABE: Dad saw that your evil was like the first few cells of cancer that would spread like the disease unless he cut it out. That's why he locked you up. To stop the cancer. But it was too late then. But guess what. It's too late for you now.
I am inclined to think it may not have been a good idea to make Lucifer feel like he couldn't change for the better. You know, TBH I don't know if Lucifer would have acted differently if someone had believed in him, but with everyone giving up on him, he really had no choice but to act the way he did, and it is now all on them. Maybe I'm a minority here but I felt a tad sorry for Lucifer even though he was lying through his teeth. It is obvious from his interest in Jack that he wants to be 'admired' by someone as Gabe said, and maybe if they had used this to an advantage he could have done some good.
Anyway, let's skip by AU Cas and his accent (LOL)
RESCUE! This was a good scene.
Sam hugging Charlie<3
SAM: Sorry.
Dean saving Ketch XD
DEAN: I gotcha
KETCH: You actually saving me? It's about bloody time!
Aww :D
And Cas killing AU Cas
AU CAS: Don't think you are better than me. We are the same.
CAS: Yes. We are.
They get back to the others -
Bobby: Good work. Got a win. Don't get many these days. Real proud of you boys. We had a vote to see who was idjit enough to go off to this other Earth with you.
SAM: Yeah? Any takers?
BOBBY: Everyone. Me included. For whatever reason, I got a good feeling about you two.
SAM: Dean, that's great!
Bobby sounded like the old Bobby here when he says 'Real proud of you boys' but... I hope you're right, Sam. I really do :(
Dean fixes up the bus (wohoo <<3)
Jack goes off. He wants to kill Michael. Sam tries to tell him that is not a good idea. Luci comes up and says the same thing differently, and Jack listens and calls him father... Luci likes that, Sam is not sure if he is glad that Jack agreed or not.
Michael appears alone as they are going through - what, did they kill all the other angels?
So everyone gets through, Gabriel buys them time and gets killed.
Really? or trick again? It was a rather quick end to him. If he is really dead, I wish they put a bit more effort into it somehow.
SAM: How did you think this was going to end?
Sam pushes Luci back, Luci tries to fight Michael (half-heartedly) but is no match, he makes a deal.
If you think about it, everyone was gone, he had no reason to fight Michael, but he tried anyway until he figured he couldn't win. Sort of like Sam being saved by Luci - he really had no choice. I am quite sure that he is not going to let Michael take over the Earth. I wonder if he took the blade that Gabriel had. Maybe he plans to kill Michael in their own world? He still wants to be admired by Jack.
Bobby calls Sam and Dean family... but doesn't mention Gabriel, who sacrificed himself, or Rowena who got them through, or Jack for that matter.
He's taking over the joint as Dean says. Really bad feeling. Everything seems wrong. Also, how are they going to go back to the AU world without the archangels? Both are in the AU world. Can Jack figure out how to open it? otherwise, the only way a rift can open is for Michael and Lucifer to do so from the other side. Jack doesn't look very happy. Maybe he will try to rescue Lucifer and kill Michael on his own.
I don't like it. I don't like how Sam 'dealt with' Lucifer, I don't like them bringing everyone to their world. I don't like any of the decisions made by the boys this ep :( I'm really scared to watch the finale now. It was better when it was a painful death. I hope I don't have to watch some painful mistakes - with good intentions gone wrong as Lucifer told Jack.
