*gives you a punching bag* :)

I would agree that Cas' speech there to Sam was a bit weird. I didn't like it either, but I tend to think it is bad writing at this point, since Sam and Dean didn't seem to find anything odd about it. Like seriously, if it was supposed to be anger inducing, Dean would have said something to chastise Cas, right? Dean of all people would have said something.

Cas telling Dean they can't go after Sam could be put down to him wanting to honor Sam's wish to save mom and Jack - Sam was the one who wanted to hurry so bad he decided to go through the tunnel in the first place. And that tunnel was super dangerous. If Dean went after Sam it could have turned into a suicide mission. We'd love that as fans but, not what Sam would have wanted him to do. Dean understood Cas. He didn't say, I don't care and go after Sam at that point did he? He came to his senses and saved the civilians, made sure mom and Jack were ok, and then went back. So, since I don't hate Cas as a character, I'm going to wait and see on judging him.

Sam and Dean this ep were beautiful :''')

Thanks, I think I need it.

Yeah, def. bad writing. Dean should have said something, because what Castiel said wasn't right at all.

It was mostly the 'there's no time' that pissed me off. It's Sam, make time. Those extra few minutes wouldn't matter. I also think Dean not going after Sam is partly bad writing. It's what Dean does, and him not going after Sam just doesn't make sense to me. When it comes to Sam, Dean doesn't really think what Sam would have wanted. We've seen that several times. Him making a deal to get Sam back. Looking for ways to get Sam out the pit even when Sam told him not too. And the fact that he didn't argue wasn't so much that he agreed with Castiel I think, but more that he was dead inside and didn't really care anymore. He was going on autopilot.

I've been waiting on judging Castiel for at least 3 seasons now, but he keeps making bad choices and making things worse for the Winchesters, and I'm done. This was the very last drop, and I don't think there's anything he can do to make me like him again.

I'm sorry for being so negative over here. I'll try and keep it to my own journal. :)

Hey, I'd rather you felt comfortable telling me, even if we don't agree. *squishes*

I hope we can both enjoy the finale!
