MARCH! SPRING!
There is no country that I know of that is so into the seasons as Japan, and starrbeam alerted me to the various seasonal products out in the stores so I thought I'd get Audrey to model for some :P
Peach blossoms, plum blossoms and cherry blossoms show spring progressing in Japan. They are all used in products as images, and also as flavors especially in spring. I found some peach and cherry blossom snacks especially made for this spring. The Hagen Daz ice cream had a sour cherry sherbert on top and vanilla ice cream with layers of the sherbert (not quite enough for my taste) inside.
The peach flavored white chocolate chip cookies smelled and tasted like Japanese white peach. The kids enjoyed them very much. The Milky candies are soft candies that usually taste like milk (thus the name...) but this spring they put out peach nectar flavored candies. Milky peach... yum!
