I've been dying to do this for MONTHS!
I've spent the last five months either waiting extremely impatiently and staring at my inbox or squealing in delight when I finally got to open a glorious new chapter of this amazing story!
Not only is it full of passion and fire, but Jay's crafted a world I could see myself living in. The sights, scents and sounds of Wolfhaven are embedded in my mind now, and it's a path I will retread often because with all great stories, once is never enough!
Jay has excelled herself, as always, at writing a strong versatile and very understandable female character; Lena is amazing and engaging and a credit to not only her creator but to women everywhere who don't want to take a journey mapped out for them!
Connell and Thay couldn't be more different and yet the same as with all brothers they share common traits; kindness and strength! One refuses to do as he's told and one refuses to not step up and own the role life's given him. They are wonderful characters who will drag you in and not relinquish their hold until the final sentences have come to life in your mind.
And with everything else Jay has ever written, there are no secondary characters here, there are rich and amazing personalities peppering the landscape with their own loves and losses.
If you want to read something that not only makes you laugh and cry but need to open a window for fear of heat stroke, then this is the book for you!
It's been a pleasure and a privilege to walk the path with you honey, here's to the sequel, to the new adventures, and the inevitable highs and lows of falling completely in love with characters that will stay with me for ever!
