(no subject)
I feel really evil right now. I'm stealing someone else's wireless inernet connection from my bedroom through my laptop. Haha this is great, since we don't have wireless in my house. I hope whoever's network this is doesn't mind...thre are three other signals that my computer is picking up, but they are password protected.
Family tension is really bad right now in my house...only 12 days till I leave though, so I won't have to deal with that any longer. I hope college is everything that people say it is for me. I hope it all works out.
I just found a hole in my shirt. It's my Budepest shirt. It's sad. :(
My Mac is so fun. I am in the process of digitalizing my CD collection...yeah, it is taking up every moment of my time that I have at home. I have been so busy lately though with work, things with friends and many random things that come up.
One random thing being our jazz combo, the Americanos, played a real, paying gig last Friday night. Go to dropshots or facebook for photos. But it was very last minute. We practiced friday afternoon and then played at night. I could only make it for the last set because my family went out to dinner. We played at the Flat Iron Cafe, and it was lots of fun. I did a lot of experimental playing, because I was feeling Wayne Shorter-ish. Nonetheless, it was a good time and we made about 60 bucks. Better than nothing. I wish we could have been playing more over the summer, but everyone has been just so busy and our schedules never lined up.
I need to get posters for my dorm.
I wish my friends lived closer to me or that I lived closer to them.
