I have a theory on the special kids - this came to me as I was just going to attempt to take a nap today after work and packing to move.

This is true. I guess the 'special kids' could be his 'special pawns' or something. Juiced up humans to do his bidding in the mortal world. But if the special kids aren't his soldiers, then what's powering his army?

graveyardghosts went to Europe this summer and snapped the pic! She posted it up for me and then I iconned it. :)

I had always thought that Sammy would turn out to be the 'leader' of this army that the Demon is coming up with. At least, I believe that the nursery fire children are the only ones 'qualified' to be leaders. In this case, Andy and Sam are the only ones left.

I have a feeling there may be a last-man-standing thing between Andy and Sam, too. That'd be sad, cuz Sam will obviously be the winner there cuz there is no show without Dean AND Sam, and it'd be sad to see Andy go! D:

Yeah, I completely agree. Andy seems like a really down to earth character, and I'd hate to see a duel happen between Sam and Andy to see which one goes and who stays. (Obviously Sam will stay, as you stated.)
I wonder how it's all going to go down, though. That should be quite interesting.

I wrote a fic about this [ "Of Wolf and Man", only 6 chapters long!]. I believe that eventually, THE DEMON will have it where people with powers like Sam and Ava (the visions, I guess) will be able to control their visions. Liek, they'll see stuff in their minds and then be able to make it happen. Of course, THE DEMON is screwed if they see good things, but I'm guessing the visions in nightmare form are supposed to screw up their minds and give them bad visions? LOL, still a little sketchy there! But it's all I've got on how the visions can be used for evil. ^^;;

Sam has the potential for other powers though, besides just the visions. In "Nightmare" he moved the thing covering the door with his mind when he thought Dean was going to die. Who knows what other powers he could have.
