Speculation from recent promo
potthead asked me to post this here to possibly stir up a bit of discussion while we wait for the new episode on the 11th.
WATCH THE NEW PROMO
So we've all speculated based on this whole secret thing and one of the promos that said "Good or Evil? Can you really know what side you're on" or something similar to that, it's been thought that maybe it was all in reference to Sam. That this secret may be that somehow Sam is going to be evil. But in this newest promo, throughout, Sam is portrayed in the light and Dean is still hidden in the dark shadows (as I've illustrated with the caps). Which made me wonder if maybe the whole "side" argument would be more about Dean. I mean we've already seen him take hunting to a pretty dark place and seen him act pretty dark.. so maybe he's the one sliding down the slope quickly.
Anyways, thought it was an interesting.. and it could just be choice of shots, but I'd be interested to see what you thought.
ETA: slayervixen reminded me and I thought I'd add this, since I've been meaning to post for a while, it's about Dean and the yellow eyed Demon. Thus far, we've seen that the demon has gone after first borns (okay so I have no idea if Andy was born first, but wouldn't it be wild if he were?) with Max and Rosie. So.. why did the Demon skip Dean? Why did it instead go for Sam? Thoughts?
