Well, apparently I have an interview tomorrow in the Fiction Department of BPL for one of their part-time librarian positions. I'm glad to get an interview, but I am concerned about whether or not I'm going to get a lot of questions regarding the sorts of things I would recommend for various genres, which is exactly the sorts of questions I got when I interviewed at Mountain Brook. The problem is, of course, that, um, I'm not really a reader. Ironic, huh? A librarian who doesn't read. Ah well. Well, it should be interesting at least.
I'm really tired today too so I can kinda half-awake when I took his phone call. Just a few minutes ago, I opened up a can of tea mix thinking it was a can of mixed nuts. When I felt the powdery stuff inside, I looked closer and saw it was not mixed nuts.
I really would like this job to happen though, because I would like to have some money, have a regular schedule, get some experience, and have an excuse not to work on full-time applications right now. I have sent one out, and am working on several right now. But I would be willing to settle for a part-time job for a while.
