This should be an interesting few days. Just a few hours ago, my parents went out of town and won't be coming back until Sunday morning. If it was just about anyone else in the world but me, they would think that this would be a perfect opportunity for a wild party of one kind or another. However, since I am the way I am, I'll probably do what I was planning on doing the rest of this week anyways--that is to say, enter books and work on job applications. Only difference is that I'll probably be drinking some beer--but mostly I'll be enjoying the fact that it'll be a bit quieter around here and I won't have as much competition for the living room TV.
Speaking of job hunting, I applied for a part-time job at BPL. Ironically, this position is one under the person who got hired over me, but I'm a big person and I could handle it. It's over $10/hr and about 40/hrs bi-weekly so it'd be decent pay if I got it. Plus, more library experience and another reference can never hurt.
