Hey All!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you all had a great break, but anyways as for the story, I'm really starting to mot like it anymore. The repetiveness is getting to me and right when you think the story is going to get to the good part, it switches and talks about something different and it's making me really mad!!!!! But as for why O'Brien wrote this story I don't know, there are several different reasons that come to mind. In the beginning of the book he talks about how is daughter, Kathleen maybe, asks why he keeps writing war stories and why he doesn't write about anything else. And he does wonder why he doesnt but still stays with war stories. There is also the fact that he had been in the Vietnam War and I'm not sure what his real experience was but maybe this book was supposed to be his way of how the war should have been or what he had imagined it as being. Whatever the real reason is I couldn't tell you. But if i were to give him advice it would be stop being so darn repetitive and try writing some true stories!!!! I don't know that's just my opinion and i have a bunch more work to do so that's all for now. Later Days!!!
