Prompt #6......lil late

Hello everyone!!!! Sorry my prompt is a little late :-/ Now as for the story being fictional, I was shocked that day we were in class to find out none of it was true. Obviously the author has a really strong writing technique because the story kind of pulled me in and made me believe that all of these things the soldiers were doing was true!!! But i suppose in a sense it is true because some of it, about all of the crazy things soldiers go through and all the harsh conditions he speaks about are semi true. Even though it isn't true, after your done reading you kind of just sit there and think that was a good chapter, but it wasn't true. And in a way i suppose it could change the way i think about the book because you find out things about the characters and can relate maybe in different ways, but then you remember it's not real. But thus far I still like the book, but i think i would have liked to know that it was fictional AFTER i had finished it. But that's all for now guys so HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Later Days :-)
