(no subject)
I'm glad for summer but sad that so many people from school are so far away. I'm trying to plan so many things to do, hopefully I can figure them around work and have enough money to do them! I had training at New York & Co today, it should be a decent job. When I was walking in I met another girl who's working there who also goes to MSU and is named Sarah. Oh, and we were dressed oddly similar today, it was so wierd! I have to learn how to be fashionable...it's actually in the rules for dress! This will be interesting. I can so far successfully use the hair straightener and put on makeup well, next is learning to match clothing.
I went for a run today with Lea and Coco, and my sister was outrun by a 5-lb puppy. I'm highly relieved that I was not :) It felt good, I need to start doing that more. But running with headphones instead of the dog. I'm going to fence on Tuesday and visit in Lake Orion on Wednesday :) I'm excited! Also have Melissa's bday party to look forward to, since I haven't seen her in pretty much forever and a half. I'm trying to plan trips to Muskegon and Fripp Island too, but it's still early and I want to be at my job for a couple weeks before I ask for too much time off.
I went to the zoo with Deanna today. Not actually into the zoo, to the parking lot where the Humane Society and other shelters were doing on-site adoptions. So many dogs and kitties...so cute! It was sad that they're in those small cages all day, but from what Deanna said, a lot were being adopted so that's good.
P.S. I'm finally done with Economic Geography and it is wonderful!
