The Rad Legacy: Sixteen!
Hello again! I have another reasonably short update for you, if you'd like!
Last time, some BOYS were born into the legacy! They're like gold dust! We got Mikel and Jasper, and Kassidy got pregnant with a third child - will it be another boy, do you think? As always, there's the Rad tag if you'd like to catch up.
You all remember Kassidy, the current heiress, right?
And look, the lump of clay is back - to inspire Jasper for his aspiration. Kassidy looks a little less than impressed to see it again.
Prince Dang is also hanging out with the clay, only he wants to exercise with it.
"Come on, lump, work through the burn!"
Jasper, the youngest child, is having a little bit of a rough time with the bathroom situation - with Kassidy heavily pregnant, she needs to pee like every half hour, leaving Jasper to stink up the place.
You'd think he'd be a little happier that there's leftover cake, though. Enough to forget about the stink!
Jasper must really stink because Kassidy decided to sit on her bed rather than at the dining table.
Mikel decided to join her with his homework, too - I'm trying to get Mikel a good grade, but have pretty much stopped at a B.
The photo wall is coming on pretty well, too - might have to invest in a proper photography studio or something to get some bigger photos or whatever.
I really like the selfies the boys took together, though. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get tired of the photography skill!
"Why are you eating yoghurt? We're going to eat my birthday cake in a minute!"
"Ugh, I'm so bored of cake."
"Well, no one told you to eat the whole cake left in the fridge."
So while Jasper stood at the fridge singing (you can't see him, but he was there) and Mr Super or whatever they named him watched over, Mikel blew out his candles.
We're moving on a little in this legacy! Isn't that exciting?
And here he is!
He gained the Gloomy trait (like his father!) and the Bestselling Author aspiration - like his mother!
"Waking up to labour sucks."
I'd imagine it does. But it does mean I get to send her to the hospital and witness that for the first time!
"Whoa, look how big she is! I bet it's twins."
"It better not be twins!"
Prince came along for the birth, but didn't even make it into the hospital, bless him.
"Hello there Miss Rad, I'm your doctor today! How are things?"
"I'm in labour, what do you think?"
"Right...well, I'll just get started then."
"Uh oh, I think that might be too much glue..."
"Glue?! What the heck are you doing?"
"Um, I'm no doctor, but don't I need that?"
After all of that insanity and drama, a little girl was brought into the world - Izzie Rad!
Which possibly means the end of the gender skew! We'll see.
"Well, I'm never going through that again."
It was pretty horrific.
"I nearly lost my heart, but you were worth it, little one."
With Izzie's arrival, I think the generation is complete. No more babies!
Back home, and Mikel has taken a liking to Izzie. I'm guessing this means he'll be good with kids should you guys vote him for heir.
"I'm a loner, why the heck are we outside, Mike!"
"I'm a teenager with no friends, and it wouldn't hurt if you had friends, little one."
"I hate people!"
Mikel left his little brother feeling uncomfortable on the pirate ship so he could talk to some girls, specifically Olivia Spencer-Kim-Lewis. I'm assuming she's one of the premades or something.
Anyway, she wasn't sure what to make of Mikel, but they managed to build up a little bit of relationship.
"There's too many people here! I hate it!!"
Jasper's loner trait is incredibly funny when he's on a community lot - he wouldn't stop pulling this face, it was great!
"I don't want to be an adult."
"At least you're not an elder!"
To be honest, I'm not sure sims change much on their adult birthdays, but I'm pretty sure Kassidy got a wee bit wider/rounder.
She also got a teeny bit of a makeover, a simpler Mum-sy look. Time really is passing in this legacy - I feel like I've been on this generation forever!
The best part is, nothing has changed between her and Prince!
"Seriously, how are you not impressed by this!"
Olivia may not look very interested, but she was the one who stopped by - Mikel didn't invite her. So she must be somewhat curious by this mad little family!
Well, look who popped out of her crib!
Her hat somewhat inspired her tomboy look, but so did her Lazy trait - I'm not saying tomboys are lazy, but I'm sure Izzie would just want to pull on clothes and go.
She also got the Whiz Kid aspiration, but I don't think that goes well with her trait if you ask me!
"Mum, look! I'm all grown up! Let's play!"
"I can't, honey, I'm fixing the sink. Go annoy your brothers!"
"Hey Mikel! What's up?!"
Nothing like trying to impress a girl with your kid sister present, is there?
She's freaking adorable, though, right? We've got some good kids this generation!
