It's the weekend and most of my flatmates have gone home. Also, it rained a lot. So what's a better use of my time than to play sims! I have a lot of free time at uni, it seems. I'm sure that'll change with time.
Anyway! Last time, Milah and Tyson welcomed a baby boy - Cohen - who was rather creepy looking, and then he grew into an adorable little boy.
First thing's first, Cohen is definitely his father's son. Ignoring the sofa in favour of hanging out in the master bedroom? Check. Eating week-old slop from the back of the fridge? Check.
Cohen has a skill his father doesn't have, though - he pulls neat faces a lot!
Tyson and Cohen are also very good at breaking things, and while I could just go around replacing them all, the family's actually struggling to get by.
Did you know repairing a radio means tweaking the remote? Does this mean electric shocks are no longer a threat?
"Why does Dad make such a big deal about these? They're just sandwiches."
"Don't let him catch you saying that, honey."
Everyone always looks so depressed first thing in a morning! I'm guessing none of the London family are morning people.
I bought a lump of clay for Cohen as apparently it increases creativity. And also, I want to mess around with clay!
Cohen seemed to like it. So much so that he neglected bathing in order to play with it.
See, he made a....thing...
After Cohen had bathed and gone to bed, Milah decided it was her go with the clay, but she couldn't make anything interesting. Not like her son.
But at least she tried, right?
Well, I guess clay is addictive because then it was Tyson's turn.
Only he was a show-off. He must be harbouring some creativity skillpoints, I guess!
Now are you ready for some father-son bonding time? Because they're uncontrollable, Tyson and Cohen never seem to be too far from one another.
"Look Dad, I'm like six years old and I already have a smart phone!"
"That's impressive, son! Let's take a selfie!"
"See, son? Cheese is the greastest food in life!"
Cohen does not seem convinced.
He then went and got his toy car off his dresser and proceeded to sit on the sofa making vehicle noises and cute faces.
I really like Cohen, can you tell?
"Look, Dad! I broke something! Just like you do!"
"I'm so proud of you, Cohen!"
"Would you two PLEASE stop breaking things? I'm pregnant and tired and this is an inconvenience!"
"...is now a bad time to tell you I broke the fridge?"
"UGH."
Seriously. You can break the fridge.
If you're wondering why he's pulling that face, Cohen just accidentally poked himself in the eye with his toy monster.
And it was hilarious.
Is pregnancy brain a thing? Because if so, I think Milah may have it.
Though maybe she's just saving herself time so she doesn't have to do the laundry later.
Hooray, the second baby is here! And thanks to experience, I knew how to make sure Milah wasn't in labour for HOURS. But they do say, in real life, that your second child is usually quicker than your first.
It's another boy! And I don't think I'm going to torture Milah with more pregnancies, because the combination of work + motherhood is running her into the ground.
Anyway, this is Dominic. His name was also decided by the game.
A rare moment when the house is peaceful enough for sleep! Of course, that won't last long with Dominic around.
"Mum, Dad...I don't think I like him. Make him go away."
Didn't I tell you Cohen pulls the best faces?
Ooh, my first fire of TS4! Milah caught light straightaway - no more slow spreading from cooker to sim.
She was able to put herself out, though. That's an improvement, right? :)
"You have got to be kidding me. I fixed that oven yesterday, and now we have to replace it completely?!"
The insurance didn't even come close to covering it, either.
After cleaning herself up, Milah headed out into the world to make more friends. And Cohen followed her, drinking either juice or milk.
Milah only needs one more friend for a promotion. Too bad she had to go to work before she'd befriended this lady.
This meant Tyson was uncontrollable and in charge of a party that I'd thrown so Milah could make friends.
Also, why do people always show up to the house parties in cowboy hats? We had Sad Cowboy in the last update, now we have Pregnant Cowgirl. At least, I think she's pregnant.
Pregnant Cowgirl who flirted with Tyson, but it happened so quickly I didn't get a picture.
"Wait a second, you guys aren't my family."
Cohen was out the entire time, joining new families in order to gain free hotdogs. Smart boy - something OTHER than grilled cheese!
Work didn't go well for Milah, a chance card lowered her performance and then she fell asleep in the yard.
But on the plus side, Dominic grew up! Now there will be undisturbed sleep, right?
Dominic looks slightly more like Tyson than Cohen does, and also has his father's hair colour. Cohen's blonde locks are still a mystery. I guess the game has Milah down as a closet-blonde.
Dominic got the active trait, I think.
Straightaway, Dominic starts trying to impress me, but autonomously cleaning up all of the dishes leftover from Tyson's lame party the night before.
And he does it with a smile!
And of course after that he plays with the family lump of clay. And he's better at it that Cohen.
Is this the beginning of a sibling rivalry?
We'll have to find out next time! See you soon!
