Um ok, the beginning. Carry on my Wayward Son? Awesome.
I can't even organize my thoughts...
I LOVED the Ruby fight...I also loved that it was just to get the knife from her. And that Dean was like "You wanted the knife, I got it for you."
The angst. The subtext. That conversation about how they are each other's weaknesses. I was squeeing so much, I missed half of it :P
And fucking BOBBY! He's so badass. He fucking knew they were gonna try to sneak off.
But ok, the BEST scene [possibly in the history of SPN] was Sam and Dean rocking out [to Bon Jovi of all things]. It was like Kripke wanted us to be all happy and complacent before he pulled the rug out from under us.
Lillth's "holiday" was awesomely creepy and completely disturbing. And I love that she posessed Ruby. I didn't see that one coming.
So. The end. I dunno. I pretty much figured Dean was going to die. And Sam holding him fucking KILLED me, ugh it was horrible that he had to WATCH Dean die!
Up until the last 2 minutes, I thought this was the best episode EVER. I just don't like that they showed hell. But then I guess they did have to show us what happened to Dean... Ugh, I dunno. Although I did love the scene with Sam just standing there looking defeated surrounded by Dean and Ruby's dead bodies.
ALSO what happened to Ruby? She must have gone back to hell. I hope next season we get some evil!Sam. That cliffhanger was intense. I mean I said that Dean was going to die, but STILL! He's actually dead. And in hell. :(
Little sidenote, they recycled the tulip paintings from Madison's apartment and put them in the house of the people Lillith was posessing.
I have to go watch it again, but this episode was pretty awesome. I'm sad that I was too sick to go to the spn_nyc party, but there's always next season's premier. Which I can't fucking wait for!
ETA: Ok, so I've watched it again and I only have one thing to add - Lillith was SCARED of Sam at the end! Badass!Evil!Sam is TOTALLY coming back in Season 4!! :D
