IN DIRE NEED OF ASSISTANCE!
Okay, so. I have a dilemma.
I was really excited to have the interview at H&M, but I have no idea if they actually plan on hiring me. They said they'd call me by Friday, after a background check cleared.
Then I get a call for an interview at Bennigan's. During said interview, I am offered a job. I would rather not work food service, although I do want to learn waitressing and it's closer to my school. I asked if I could have a few days to decide... interviewer said that she needed to know now. I mentioned I was waiting to hear from another place as well. She said she could give me until tomorrow since there were other people up for the job.
No idea what either of these jobs are offering to pay me. Meredith worked at Bennigan's and said she started at $8/hr.
So. WHAT DO I DO?
Do I wait for H&M to call me? Do I call them?
Do I accept the Bennigan's job because I REALLY need a job?
What happens if I do that and then H&M accepts me?
Have I made people angry at Bennigan's by making it seem like there was another job I wanted more? Or do you think they would assume I was waiting to hear on this other job for other reasons, like schedule or payment or whatnot?
