Chick flicks...
So, this winter i decided to partake in concept2's Holiday Challenge. Concept2 is a company that fabricates exercise machines, and in particular, the rowing machine that my family possesses. The Holiday Challenge takes place between thanksgiving and christmas eve, with the goal being to row a total of 100k or 200k meters. Now I've been completing my 200k objective in 10k increments, typically while watching an hour long show. Today I had difficulty with finding a good show to watch, so I flipped to comedy central because they've usually got a funny movie or something. Unfortunately I happened upon a chick flick, but it was just starting, and the two main characters were pretty hot, so I thought "eh what the hell" and started watching it. I forget the name, but the plot was basically that this girl is a sex-a-holic and goes to clubs to pick up guys and use them. She goes clubbing at the beginning and sees this guy she kinda likes, and then when he leaves she follows him across the country and it gets unnecessarily complicated and sucks. The part where I gave up on it is near the end, when the girl and guy are talking outside and the guy thinks the girl doesnt like him so he leaves. and the girl watches him leave. and then goes back inside, rethinks everything, realizes she's retarded and runs back outside to find him. This is where i hung my head in embarrasment: she looks every single way wondering where he went, WHEN SHE SAW HIM LEAVE!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAA. this is why i dont watch chick flicks...because women in them are so retarded. I could go on and on about this horrible waste of film, but i dont want to waste any more of your time with it.
So I'll talk about other things...like our hockey game last night. It was our first game of the season, which was against long reach. Unfortnately we lost 4 - 1. They seriously outplayed us, although we managed to play together more towards the end. Plenty of room for improvement though lol... I got some ice time which was exciting...so yeah.
There was something else i was gonna talk about, but i forgot what it was...AND I REALLY WANNA WATCH "its a wonderful life" again this year!!!!
