(no subject)
Exciting news in the life of Michelle! Ok well maybe not that exciting, but it's something out of the norm for me, so woot. Friday night (yesterday) I went on a date! And oddly enough, it was with Kris Wiktorowski. It's odd because we hadn't really talked since we graduated high school, and I saw him over the summer at one of Shannon's bonfires and we exchanged #s, but I didn't think we would ever hang out. I mean, let's be honest, about 50% of the numbers in my phone are people I've never actually called. But he texted and was like "You back from New Zealand? We should hang out" So we did. We went to Tully's and had dinner, watched the Sabres game, then he had a hockey game (he plays in some sort of league) so I went to that with him. It was a fun night- he was a gentleman, opening doors, paid for the meal and whatnot. I'm a pretty independent girl, but it's nice when boys do that sort of stuff :-) We talked a lot, and I realized that even though our lockers were next to each other for almost 7 years, I really knew nothing about him. But he's a pretty cool kid, and all in all the night was a lot of fun. Poor guy- when he came to pick me up, my dad just stood in the living room with his arms crossed staring at the door, like some sort of mini-bouncer. And since he's never met my dad before, I'm sure it wasn't the most comfortable of meetings haha. But at least Dad didn't have his gun on. I think we could be pretty good friends though. Not sure if going to Tully's and a hockey game counts as a date, but I haven't gone on a date in forever, so I'm counting it. One in the win column. Woot. :-D
