THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
.DAY ONE...TONIGHT
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME WIDESPREAD ACROSS CENTRAL AND
SOUTHERN KANSAS LATE TONIGHT. HEAVY RAINFALL AND SMALL HAIL WILL BE
POSSIBLE FROM SOME OF THIS ACTIVITY. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.
RECENT DRY CONDITIONS AND LOW STREAM FLOWS SHOULD PREVENT WIDESPREAD
FLOODING ACROSS THE REGION.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
THE THREAT FOR HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE ON MONDAY, MAINLY EAST
OF THE KANSAS TURNPIKE, AS LOW PRESSURE DEEPENS OVER THE PLAINS.
LOCALIZED FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS WILL BE
POSSIBLE. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO RE-DEVELOP OVER CENTRAL
OKLAHOMA DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS ALONG A DRY LINE.
SOME OF THIS ACTIVITY COULD MOVE INTO EXTREME SOUTHERN AND SOUTHEAST
KANSAS. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL UP TO
ONE INCH IN DIAMETER. FURTHERMORE, A WINTRY MIX WILL BE POSSIBLE
LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING ACROSS CENTRAL KANSAS, AS
COLDER AIR FILTERS SOUTH INTO THE AREA. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE NOT
ANTICIPATED. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR ADDITIONAL UPDATES AND OUTLOOKS
REGARDING THIS DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM.
THUNDERSTORMS COULD AFFECT THE REGION AGAIN LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT
INTO THURSDAY, AS ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM MOVES EASTWARD INTO THE
CENTRAL PLAINS.
On another note (haha, that's terrible), there is no substitute for great music! I could lay in my bed for a long long time listening to it and doing nothing more.
