so..... LJ was nice enough to not tell us that spaces aren't recognized in tags....
yeah... i just realized that today. i spent a good amount of time converting vegancooking's tags with spaces into tags with endless dashes. (the one that amused me the most was
ethnic-food-indian-deep-fried at least with spaces, you could tell it meant ethnic food-indian-deep fried.... but now they all run together.
on some of them, i put double dashes, but i don't have the time to double dash everything.
and one sucky thing was that i had deleted a bunch of tags because i thought the "rename" thing wasn't working.... but it does work... that's when i realized it only works when you put a tag without spaces... :-( aah well. it's a learning experience... i post this so you don't waste your time.
i figured i'd tell you all now before you create a whole slew of tags with spaces and are confused as to why in the world some are and some aren't working.
(it does, however accept -, +, &, ?, /, ( and ).) ::edit:: and _ ::/edit::
thanks LJ for being so user friendly, and pointing this out on the tags management page.
*gives LJ a huge sarcastic hug*
