I hate, HATE, hate working in an office. The works not that bad, I keep myself busy with my eight weeks of degree auditing, it's more the people that get on my last nerve. The things they talk about. I try to block them out, to no avail. All the giggling about "do you lose your pubic hairs when you get chemotherapy?". This asked to a lady who does payroll who had cancer and just got married last weekend. Then, they laugh and giggle. I'm all for having a good time; one that's not as childish and petty. The registrar's assistant (yes, i work for her) had a lower middle class lady come in the other day who works for upward bound. That's a program that pays high school kids to take college classes here (they're usually high risk not to go to school, like their parents never did and the grandparents didn't either--so 1st generation college students). After the lady left, they went around giggling and spraying Febreeze everywhere because they said that she just LOOKED like she stunk. PLEase. I just sit in my corner, on my slow ass computer and try not to kill anyone.
Calculus is going okay. I've had a couple bad quizzes. We have them every morning, M-F, blah! I'm on the lower end of B, but for math & I, that's a very good relationship. I'm frustrated with Roy, so I'll just leave any updates about him out of this one.
Melanie has been getting increasingly motor deficient. If you watch her closely, you'll see her face start to twitch and she'll lose her balance and sometimes, fall down. This happens mostly when just standing and not when she's moving. She's not eating as well as she was a few days ago. Vet visit is in order for her soon.
