Court was bull... it took forever and a day to get to the actual trial after i said i wanted to plead guilty, no alternative measures.
The judge heard the report and was absolutely SHOCKED that they put me in JAIL for as long as they did. Overnight, no less. He was pretty upset over that little factoid.
See, they actually shouldn't have done that.
Because I first said my name was jeremy before giving them my legal name, thats why. so basically because I'm trans.
and the crown failed to mention that the confusion of my legal name was due to the fact that I am trans.
either because she was a homophobe, or she was afraid it would give me an actual reason.... no matter.
the judge said "You have more on your plate than anyone in this room, and I'm not going to put more on it."
He completely waved the charge.
No PO, no conditions, no fine, no community service, nothing. nada. zip. zero.
FREEDOM.
nicest guy ever.
he really was not cool with them putting me in jail.
what a fucking awesome judge.
