Dear Diary,
Today I was a very good boy. When the neighbor dogs came out of their house and started barking at me, I sat real close to my person and barely even reacted. And later, when we walked by an enormous Malamute who wanted to rip into me, I sat at her feet and let that dog wuff and bark all she wanted at me. I only barked back once.
And then when my person told me I was a very good, good boy I tried to kiss her face all over but she said, "That's disgusting, don't do that!"
Which I thought was rude, but it's okay. I'm good. I'm still cool, cool, cool.
PS, my person thinks she can keep me from snuggling under the covers of her bed and getting my gloriously black hairs all over her cream colored sheets, but she is sorely mistaken.
