Thanks a lot, jerkwad

It always bothered me, seeing unleashed dogs in parks with big "dogs must be on leash" signs posted very visibly. Now that I have a dog-reactive dog? HULK SMASH.

Walter may only be 17 pounds, but he genuinely causes even the "don't worry, she's nice!"est dog to get agitated. This isn't the on the unleashed dog owners, of course, except for the fact that disasters could be prevented if they'd just follow the fucking rules. Pardon the French. Yes, I know I need to train W, but 1) I'm not a natural dog owner, 2) doxies and terriers both have that little man syndrome that I'm not sure any amount of training will ever completely alleviate and 3) maybe the belief in number two is causing me to not be great at the whole training thing.

The point stands: the rule is there for a reason. Just because your dog is an angel doesn't mean everyone's is. I'm envious yours will run up to another dog or person just wanting to play; mine wants to play at ripping yours' throat out.

Yeah. Anyway, tl;dr: today I had hoped to take Walter on a new hike, only to catch up to a jackass and his two unleashed dogs roaming slowly ahead of us only about a hundred feet in. We had to turn around and go somewhere else and I may have passive-aggressively shouted, "I GUESS WE'LL HAVE TO COME BACK WHEN THERE AREN'T ANY ASSHOLES WITH UNLEASHED DOGS HERE." on the way. And no, he wasn't even carrying a leash.
