Identity Theft

As I thought, being at home sucks...and I caught another cold...apparently I'm hanging around the wrong people.

Damn. I was hoping to get Queensryche, but...Savatage works too.

Turns out I couldn't have seen Mandi even if I wanted to, her spring break starts NEXT week, not this one...doh...I lose... but I still want to find a job to work at so I can earn some kind of income.

Let me tell you, identity theft is scary. It doesn't look scary on those amusing Citi commercials, but if too much fear is used in an advertisement, the consumer won't be convinced to buy the product. I learned that in Social Psych class. :P This particular case involves my brother; apparently someone on eBay thought it would be fun to use his name and buy all kinds of vintage cars. It presented to me two possibilities. One, someone hacked my brother's computer (he's a stubborn bastard, so he won't put any kind of protection on his machine. Dumbass.) and somehow obtained information about my family, which is really bad. Two, one of his friends (either in real life or online) did this as some kind of practical joke. Somehow or other my cousin Steven got involved in trying to solve this, and so have I, but it's very easy to fool people on the internet, which makes it extremely difficult to find out who the hell is doing this to him. Hopefully it'll get resolved by the time my break is over.
