So we have a new home theater system. Sad thing is, it can't play external subtitles. I emailed Sony customer support and one of their representatives called to tell me that. So I can't watch my Japanese shows on it unless they come with embedded subtitles or hardsubbed. Our Samsung Smart TV can play it, why can't Sony?
