Ive grown so tired of cooking the same things so tonite I made something different. I barely got a chance to take a pic because the family gobbled it up. Bryan told me it was delicious! :0
I got the recipe from Southern Living Annual Recipes 2007
Pizza Spagettia Casserole
12 oz uncooked spagettia
1/2 tsp salt
1 lb pkg of mild pork sausage
2 oz turkey pepperoni slices(I used regular pepperoni)
1 26oz jar tomato and basil pasta sauce
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 oz pkg shredded Italian 3 cheese blend(I used 2 pkgs) we like cheese :)
1. Cook the noodles with the salt according to package directions. Drain and place in greased 13X9 baking dish.
2. Brown sausage in large skillet until meat crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain and set aside. Wipe out skillet. Add pepperoni to skillet and cook over medium 4 mins until slightly crisp.
3.I added the cheese next over the pasta in the dish because I wanted it to be really cheesy. Then top with sausage and pasta sauce. Then arrange pepperoni slices over sauce. Cover with the other bag of cheese. Sprinkle with parmesan. Layer the rest of the pepperoni on top &cover with foil.
4. Bake 350 for 30 mins, remove foil and bake10 more mins until cheese is melted. Makes 6 servings.
We had garlic toast and blackberry cobbler for dessert. This was yummy.
