Picture size and lj cuts
I'm baaaack! :) After a nice week long vacation I'm back to the grind. I've noticed a post that received high comments in regards to picture size and lj cuts, so I decided to just make a new post so that all members will see what I've come up with.
I'm not going to make a rule on picture size. If a picture is GINORMOUS, I've usually left a comment and the picture was resized. There are instances where they were not changed, but it's not a rule, so I will only suggest it. Most people don't even realize that their picture is so big until it's too late. Many will fix it, but some just do not know how to update their community posts, and I don't have the time to explain it each time. If someone would like to write up instructions on resizing pictures/updating posts in communities, I'll be glad to add that to the user info page in case someone is interested in it.
I'd also like to remind everyone that a picture is REQUIRED (in front of a cut) in this community. There is a sister community called suggest_supper if you have food related questions. I can also be contacted through the following screened post (which is also located in the user info) if you have any questions: CONTACT MAINTAINTER
For the moment, the user info will not be changing. The only additions that might be added are helpful hints and suggestions (if another member is interested in doing the work for me. :) This is a drama free community and I thank you all for being so respectful. We'll have differing opinions. How can you not with almost 2000 strangers communicating in one place? I hope this clears things up.
