Day 16, 8a.m. - 11a.m.
I woke up before Murata for the first time since my unfortunate encounter with my feminine side. He had bad dreams again last night. He seemed less panicked than last time, but it made me wonder how many of them I've slept through. I watched him for an hour or so, unwilling to rouse him from even such disturbed sleep.
Eventually, he quieted, no longer making tiny frightened noises or movements. Shortly afterwards, he awakened naturally, and it seemed he had forgotten the dark visions of his mind. It was reassuring. Even though he hurts so much, with time and careful nurturing he will heal.
Unfortunately, nothing would do but that he
visited this world's Maou as soon as possible. He agreed to take a guard with him, at least, so I watched him leave with a pout and a wave.
Sighing to myself, I lay back to consider my handsome young Sage. Unfortunately, right in the middle of the "considering", Gisela arrived for my examination - which, I have to say, was somewhat rougher than seemed necessary. She insisted that I continue to reside in the infirmary for another night, but said that there was no reason to confine me to the room.
When she left, I found that I was no longer in a considering mood, so I took a quick bath, retrieved a book from the infirmary's small library, and read the first few chapters as I waited for Murata to return.
