Weekend Recap
On Friday, we got out Summer bonuses. So, now I've got $1100 extra dollars to mess around with. July is also going to be a 3-paycheck month. We get paid on the 1st, 15th, and 29th. That will finance my conventions for the rest of the year and I should be able to pay my car insurance for the whole year with only one payment. After that, it still looks like I'll have a lot left over. I'm not sure if the 85mm lens in my budget yet. I was planning on getting the lens before Anime-LA because December is also a month when a lot of money comes in. After I pay for my car insurance, I'll get a better picture of what's in the budget. If I can get the lens before PMX or Ani-Magic, that would be cool.
I saw Batman Begins on Saturday. I really liked the movie. It was interesting to see how Bruce Wayne became Batman. The dumb broad behind me was annoying and kept kicking my seat so I moved. I didn't even say anything. She knew she was being stupid because she kept apoligizing each time she kicked my chair. After my chair got kicked 5 times in about 10 minutes, I just had to get out of there. Dumb bitch!! The rest of my Saturday was just running errands. I also went to three different camera shops to look at used lenses, but I didn't find anything good. I'll probably go to some shops that I've never been to to look at some more used stuff.
Today, I actually made it to the gym. It was actually my first real weekend workout since I got back from Fanime. I've really gotten lazy with my cardio.
I still need to make my arrangements for Ani-Magic. I'm still debating as to whether I want the Platinum membership or not. I could use the photo pass and the preffered seating, but I don't care too much about the other stuff. There's definitely money in the budget for it. I just wish that the Ani-Magic website was working. It seems to be down quite frequently.
