I cannot even find words, so I will not try. I'll just say it was better than the last time.
Today I went to say bye to the Grand Valley folk, which was normal. It was strangely unemotional. Hm. Well, maybe it just seemed less like a goodbye and more like a normal hanging out.
Then I got Mike from Western, after getting lost and very frazzled. I got there and we found Steak 'n' Shake, miraculously. We talked for a while in the car and then ate. Then we talked for more while in the car again. Then we came back to Kentwood, talking on the way down. Er, the way up. We went to band practice and walked on the very nice field. I'm almost sorry I missed it. Almost. Big almost there.
I then went to Mike's house, staying for about an hour past planned, mostly talking in the driveway until his mom came home. Then we went inside and talked about having a sword fight. We forgot to bring his sword outside, however, so we fought with the air and, later, a lightsaber. Then we had a real swordfight.
Sensing a theme here? We talked a lot. I liked it. I felt more...complete somehow. And now I have to miss it.
"Have you ever liked someone, but the timing was off?"
-Name that movie; I know I stole it from one.
And no, it isn't from Titanic. I'd know.
