Walking amongst several students with your nose in a book is never a good idea- yet Sakura was doing just that. The medical text she immersed herself in was as boring as it looked, but she ate it up just as well. "... study of factors affecting the health and illness of populations, and serves as the foundation and logic of interventions made in the interest of public health and preventive medicine... . . . That sounds a little too boring." Sporting a pout as she flipped the page, maneuvering quite well into the trickle of people here and there.

"...draw on a number of other scientific disciplines... biology in understanding disease processes and social science disciplines including sociology and philosophy... better understand proximate and distal risk factors. Gods, this is going to kill me." The teen gave a huff, shutting the book with a quick snap and sitting down on a bench completely oblivious to the male that was on the other ( ... )

Kiba's nose twitched as he picked up a sweet scent and looked up to see a girl with pink hair walking by. He stared in quiet curiosity as she sat down on the other end of the bench, rattling off about biology and fractures and stuff he found quite uninteresting. He raised an eyebrow as she huffed quietly before she took notice of him. Akamaru whined loudly when he stopped scratching his head, but Kiba ignored him ( ... )

[I fail and have writer's block, sorry ;-;]

A thin eyebrow raised as she matched his gaze- though it was interrupted when she looked down to see the dog near her. "Eh? Oh- no it's fine." A slow grin stretching on her lips as she let the dog- Akamaru, was it?- sniff at her hand before hesitantly scratching behind his ears. "I'm friendly too; no harm no foul." The smile she had on widened briefly and with a final pat to Akamaru's head she stood up, book clutched behind her back.

"Aa, so you're new- Well, the dorms are over here," turning around to point at the expanse of concrete and plaster, tilting her head to see if he was even looking. "Seven-ten, right? You're on my floor." Smiling lightly as she shrugged a shoulder. "I'm going up there anyway, so you can follow me. I'm Sakura, by the way." Pausing as she waited for him to gather his things and stand. "I've only been here for about a week or so, but it's nice."

(( lol, 's totally okay. XD ))

Kiba picked Akamaru back up after the girl -- Sakura -- stood up and pointed to the building across the way, offering to lead him up to his room. He felt like a bit of an idiot for not realizing that the building he had been standing outside of for an entire hour was the one he had been looking for. He made a mental note to find a new map of the campus.

"Same floor, huh? How lucky," he mumbled under his breath, the end of his mouth quirking up into a small smile. Akamaru yipped excitedly as Kiba stood up, slinging his bag back over his shoulder and stuffing the dog into the front of his hoodie. The puppy seemed to like her, as his yips were a repeating, "I like her, I like her!" In response, Kiba told him harshly to shut the hell up and stuffed him further into his jacket.

"Thanks," he said as he started walking behind her. "I'm Kiba. Nice, huh? It certainly has potential to be interesting. Different from home, that's for sure."
