Her leg hurt, but it was nothing she couldn't handle- it wasn't like she hadn't needed to work through pain in the past, and it wasn't like she was going to abandon the skill in favor of lapsing into a mindless panic or upset over the fact that she was in pain. No, she was unusually calm for a girl of her age who had just broken her leg. She let out a faint sigh. "The nurse is on his way," she informed the other occupant of the room, the one who looked so much like her that it had upset her, made her want to stop doing anything, before she had realized that the other blonde was not her dead older sister Alicia, back to reclaim her place in the world.
Fate leaned back, closing her eyes- so many things had happened in the past hour or two alone- she wasn't fond of the thought, not when she practically relied on her routine- if she hadn't been so weak, perhaps this wouldn't have happened. Her mother wouldn't want that- then again, her mother wouldn't want her at all, on the very off chance Alicia ever did come back. This wasn't something to think about around other people- not when her expression might give away her thoughts and lead to uncomfortable questions she didn't want asked, didn't want to answer...
