Mr History Teacher: You won't learn unless you want to learn. Don't you think what I'm telling you is interesting? I think this is interesting.
Noah: You're a teacher.
Mr History Teacher: I hope so.

Mr History Teacher: You all understand what a hierarchy is, right? There's a hierarchy in this school. The principal is at the top, and then all the assistant principals and the administrators. Then there's the staff. Then come the janitors... and then the cooks... and then the guys who dust off the back of the toilets... and then there are the students. And below that is the Social Studies department.

I am having a really amazing day, mostly because of food, which I was born with an addiction to. Amnesty International is having a bake sale to raise money so we can take a train to Cincinnati for a convention. Driving would be slightly cheaper, but trains! Whee! We had everybody in the group planning it for after school on Friday nobody noticed that we don't actually have school on Friday, so I reminded them, thereby redeeming myself for being a slacker and doing my English homework instead of human rights stuff. I'm going to make cookies; they're good redemption too.

And in FRENCH we never do anything (which annoys me somewhat but that's for a different post) so we're going to go on a field trip somewhere to eat mousse because this is the most basally important thing ever. And we're also having a French-food-tasting-potluck-day which is also totally pointless but SO YUMMY. I'm bringing sorbet :) I tried getting Stella to bring us some Greek food, but Mme. Prof wasn't fooled. We spent class today looking at those coupon/ad books from a French supermarket and drooling on them.

And this is how food made Elmo's life complete. The end.
