Went to Rockford yesterday. The folks wanted to go to to the grocery store (yes, we drove forty minutes to go to a grocery store when there are three in town, but I guess they got some good deals) and I decided I needed nachos from Old Chicago and a stop at Old Navy to see if they had hats on sale. You know it's getting cold when you sit on the couch and you have not just one, but two cats lying on your legs. I wish I had a thermostat in my apartment though. We have central gas heat, which is great, because I don't have to pay for it, but it sucks because I have no control over it. Even when it gets really cold, my kitchen is drafty!
