The weekend!
And I don't have to drive more than 10 miles away from my parents' house all weekend! Nice!
We got into an accident in Monroe on the way to Madison. We had the green light. An SUV in the opposite lanes pulled into their left turn lane and just went. And STOPPED when they realized they fucked up. Right in front of us. The driver was a teenager who just got her permit. Dad basically put his foot through the floor to stop and we did hit them. The car in the lane next to us managed to swerve around the SUV.
I hit my head on my dad's headrest because dumbass me wasn't wearing a seatbelt in the backseat, but guess who's going to start doing so! I'm not hurt. As we hit the car though, my mom was screaming bloody murder and it freaked me out because I thought she got seriously hurt. Like horrible car accident hurt. She did hit her knees on the dashboard, but she seems to be okay. Whew! It was scary. I thought something horrible had happened to my mom.
Everyone involved was okay. We were only going 35 mph or so. We had to stick around for the police report though so I was late to my appointment. I called them and they were able to stick me on the back end of the schedule. The car is in fine working order, but the hood is buckled, the grill is broken, and the bumper scratched and bent.
It was freaky. We were pretty quiet during the rest of the trip to Madison. And I put my seatbelt on.
That's really all that's going on around here except for radiation. I started a new form of radiation that is more precise and will save more of my healthy tissue. It takes longer though. Twenty minutes in which I can cough on occasion... but can't have a coughing fit if I can help it. Otherwise they have to start the treatment all over.
Also, I started back on The Plan! Woo! I want to work on it some today so I'm outie!

Two Fridays ago in front of Cub Foods in Madison (or Middleton?) with queeberquabbler, I found a quarter! Woo!
Somewhere between the last time I updated and now I found two pennies, but I can't for the life of me remember where. Because it's been that long ago! Grr!
