The NaNo site is still slow! I can't enter my word count! Just for the record, I now have 8010, thanks to jump drives and dinner breaks. :)
I wonder if maybe this year is going better because I'm not as invested in this character as I was the last one. And there isn't as much canon to deal with. I'm liking it okay. We're getting somewhere.
The thing that kind of sucks is that I know part of the ending already. It came to me in the shower this morning. At least, that's how I think it's going to be. My stories have a way of taking a direction I never planned for. Which is fun.
