Up the Tyne, Forth, and Cromarty...
Yeah. So. Orkney is fucking freezing. But it was very cool seeing stuff that's been around for 5,000 years. And the ferry was nice. I didn't get to see any puffins though. Boo! We saw about 12 rainbows during our drive up the coast. Wacky. I have tons of piccies, so I'll have to share.
Jess and I jumped a fence at a roadside stop in the dark to check up on a rabbit with a hurt ear that we saw te day before. It was fortunate that we had to go back the way we came. No rabbit, or any other undesirable debris, so hopefully he hopped away and is doing fine.
Our B&B in Inverness was lovely. Very cute. And very cozy bed.
I have sore throat. I bought gloves on Orkney. I'll know better to pack warmer clothes next time!
We're on the way to Loch Ness today, and then to Glasgow to catch a flight to London. I have big plans for London on Friday... well, not really, but I have much that I want to do. If only I have enough time to do it in!
