On a pouring chilly Saturday afternoon, Nor and i braved the rain for her birthday lunch date. We planned to try out this Japanese restaurant that received pretty rave reviews around the chinatown/ Raffles place area. Albeit this very busy busy busy period of my life... Taking time off to head to the bakery to pick up a couple of wonderfully glorious cakes is what i enjoy doing best. Apart from yummlicious cakes, of course ican't forget to buy a couple of the bakery's special treats can i? To not buy is akin to committing a serious food crime ok!

So yesterday marked the last episode of the first season of my favourite american series -- Gossip Girls! It was supposed to be 22 episodes long, but i don't know why was it shortened to its current 18-episode run.
