random bits here and there..
I love the new chicky rice store opened at the hawker near my place :D It's so cheap and good at a really affordable price of only $1.90! It has been eons since i've ever eaten such cheap hawker food! I think the last time i've ever had something so cheap was the canteen food in school.. Other than that, its almost non-existent. It's going to be one of my favourite stores now, along with the tomyam ee-mee :D Roasted chicky rice, yumyumyum :DDD
The sister and i hit town in the evening today.. far east was so empty it wasn't surprising to see so many stores closed with their shutters down :s its either everyone's out celebrating mothers' day, or just stores badly hit by the recession. We were buying candy from this man who opened a Japanese candy store on level 4, the walkways were so isolated and quiet it felt kinda creepy -_- i asked him how his business was faring, and he lamented that it was rather bad, he's not really earning anything at all and has to pay expensive rental every month.. he's even planning to close his store soon :| It was quite dismal, the sister and i brought home a bag full of chocolates that we bought from his store.. haha. Well i guess, the littlest we could do to help, right? :/

We walked into zara, and my heart skipped a couple of beats. I really love the clothes there, even if some of their stuff are ridiculously overpriced here :x i wanted to buy home the entire store! I saw so many beautiful blazers displayed i couldn't resist JUST trying them on to see how it looked. And yeah, bad move cos i fell in love with them all. Haha. I didn't buy anything though, and i gave myself a pat on my back for accomplishing such a feat -- stepping into ZARA and emerging empty-handed is noooo easy task. Haha.
I couldn't resist snapping photos of the two blazers i tried :x And i shall share their gorgeousness with y'all :DDD hehehe. I'm defo getting myself one of such blazers when i start work, even if the weather in SG is ridiculously hot. :x

Apart from those random bits of stuff, i met someone familiar in town today o_o well, not really meet i guess, more like spotted from afar. He was hanging out with his gf, and i recognised the girl immediately and i saw her looking in my direction, i just cut a turn without thinking. LOL so dumb, i know -___- But the last thing i ever wanted for anything to happen was acknowledgment -__- Avoid whenever possible. I don't like awkward moments, no thanks :|
I know i'm being really random here... Hahaha. But yes, i've been collating so much random photos of snacks i've been eating, and the ones i've brought back from Japan. I reckon i should do one huge ass entry on all of that soon :p
