Are you gonna be like packing everything just in case? So you don't have to rush out of Japan? :s Or like maybe you could fly to korea for a few days, and then fly back into Japan again to settle all your luggage stuff, and then enjoy a holiday in Korea in the meantime.. :D good idea? :D hehehe.
Ah yeah, i've a 100% wool coat, i hope that's enough! Are converse high-cut sneakers warm enough shoes? >____<;; i'm not sure if it'd be warm enough.. :s i'll prolly get a pair of boots in USA too. Haha. I'm just wondering if i should bring my converse sneakers, since it snows in where i'd be going in US.. -_- And snow and sneakers.. I'm not sure if they go well together. lol. Any advice? :D
Yeah, the application is currently closed i think. I'll just have to try and make it in time for next year's one. I really do hope i'll be able to do the JET programme or something. It sounds like too good an opportunity to miss. I'm not sure.. I'm hopeful things would work out T___T do they need heaps of english teachers in Japan? Hahaha..
Maybe you could try applying again if you don't get a work visa :)

I won't have to leave the country, but I won't be allowed to work anymore (as German I'm allowed to stay as a tourist up to 6 months, but with no money and bhaaaaa...)

No, I don't have the qualifications I'd need.
If you live in an English speaking country, then there are like 234234234 positions a year, so you don't need any special qualifications (just a bachelor degree I think), but in Germany with 23423423 applications and 0-1 positions per year you need qualifications as German teacher and more, so I have no chance at all.

T____T Sorry bout that, am not really sure bout the difference.. But after reading what you just said.. really, it sucks to have no chance at all. sigh.. -hugs- I really really do hope you'll get a visa there!!
Do you have to go for rounds of interview for the visa application? I hope it's not too difficult a process.. Visas can be quite tricky sometimes.. -_-

No, no interviews, but I've written about that in my journal in detail quite a while ago. You need to prove that you have a university degree and have some qualifications in teaching English (of course ONLY if you're from a non-English speaking country). Real native speakers don't have to prove anything at all .... just show their passports and some random tiny bachelor degree. Just a lot of stuff to fill out and to prove and then it's still not a given that I'll get the visa *sigh* -__-;;
