Had this conversation with the darlings over breakfast yesterday at toastbox. We were just randomly bumming again, after polishing our breads, eggs, and teh pengs (what's new?) :p hehe. Yah, we haven't had breakfast for so long ok! It sure feels good to have a lazy sunday together, esp since there's not monday blues the next day because today's Deepavali! :D
Anyways, we were just randomly talking about handphones, palmtops etc. And JW kept going on and on about how he wanted this new HTC model that costs 1,300... And how Nor wants the new XP phone, Jan's dream to get himself a blackberry next time, and my inner bimbo desire to get myself a Japanese mobile flip phone with lotsa bling bling on it. Hahaha.
At a certain point of time into the decision, we sorta realised how our personalities were each reflected in the type of phones we wanted. Kinda funny no? Hehehe.
JW's the ultimate sucker for sleeeeeeek, functional, streamlined stuff, which goes to explain the HTC, and it's gigantic price tag. He always has the higher end taste, like HD-TVs, blu-ray DVDs and esp for food, namly Japanese food :p
JW's HTC touch HD (everything also HD) -_-
Then when it comes to Nor, her lust after the SE Xperia phone kinda shows her preference for something familiar, and reliable no? Not asking for anything fancy or extreme, that's nor. While all of us have just changed our mobiles for newer SE phones, Nor's sitll using her old trusty SE model.. it shows yes? :D
Nor's SE Xperia
And Jan's workaholic-ness is reflected in his lemming for a blackberry. Totally no life, work work work work, just like how he's constantly working his ass off now. Haha. He thinks it's ultra cool and damn awesome to own a blackberry ok? Weird right! But that's just Jan being the usual workaholic i guess :p
Jan's blackberry -- boooorring! :p
And finally, yours truly.. :D I've always wanted a NTT docomo or softbank Japanese mobile phone with all the ultra pretty flip-ness and blingblings you can adorn on the mobile. They are a tad rectangular, but that's fine. I love it rectangular! I love their gigantic big screens, awesome 5 megapixel cameras and all the eyecandy colours. I don't know why we can't have such gorgeous phones here :(((( No semi-decent flip-phones at all ok! The Japanese are awesome at their flip phones, and their nifty i-mode functions. I feel like getting myself one from tokyo and bling it with tons of diamentes..... :D so bimbotic. haha.
Pretty phone deco! Not so bling too!
Funny how our mobile lemmings semi-reflect a little of our personalities yeah? :p
And yesterday, we spent a good deal of time at the travel section of kino. Our favourite section no doubt :p Dreaming bout our idyllic escapades from the city-life, bumming our asses off in the bahamas or mauritius.. One can always dream no? :) And of course, crazy ideas like going to Blangadesh (requires you to do at least 10 different vaccines - holy mama!) , Culcutta (i drive my little taxi in.. hahahaha), Nice (oh, how NICE it is to be in Nice)... Not forgetting Dubai (for oil monguls), Barcelona (for beautiful beautiful architecture), Paris (Louvre Art museum and Eiffel tower pls!), Athens (to live the philosophical life AKA socrates, plato, aristotle), Amsterdam (to smoke weed.. bwahaha), Scotland (for the scottish kilts), and Ireland (leprechauns and the pot of irish GOLD at the end of the rainbow!!)...
We decided to axe out China, Russia and Iran. For obvious reasons.. If we were to go to china, i think we'll prolly die of starvation there. Nothing there is safe for consumption, you wouldn't know what you're putting into your mouth what with all that melamine food scandal.. tsk. as for Russia and Iran.... i don't think it requires further explanation.. hahaha.
Not forgetting our hopeful short-termed goals of Melbourne, Perth, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea..
Tell me, where do we find such money to finance for all our trips? hahahaha. Nonetheless, sketching plans and exaggerating situations are absolute fun with them. We never fail to amuse ourselves. Such cheap thrills on a lazy sunday afternoon at our favourite place in orchard. Haha :)
I couldn't resist adding this:
Rainbow coloured softbank phones!!!
